(Program from the West End Production)

Never heard of "Come Blow Your Horn?" That's OK! Below is a brief overview of the play

The play tells the story of a young man's decision to leave the home of his parents for the bachelor pad of his older brother leading a care-free bachelor lifestyle.

At the beginning of the story Buddy is a 21-year-old virgin and older brother Alan a ladies' man, but as the play progresses Alan discovers real feelings for one of the many women with whom he is currently sleeping when she elects to leave him and he falls apart in response.

Buddy yearns for an exciting life while living-it-up with his brother Alan in Manhattan. But just as Buddy thinks he has escaped his parents and readies himself to meet a girl, a few unexpected visitors decided to show up, leading to an unmistakably hilarious night.

The original broadway production opened on February 21, 1961 at the Brooks Atkinson Theater. It ran for 667 performances and was Neil Simon's first play.

In 1963, a film version was produced starring Frank Sinatra.
